This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Mrs Olanike Mabogunje (nee Ogunbayo) who was born in Nigeria on May 30th 1968 and passed away on November 19, 2006 after a fierce and long battle with Cancer. We will remember her forever. She was our Mother, Wife, daughter, Sister, Auntie, and most of all our Friend.
Nike, the sound of your laughter, your numerous jokes, the sight of your beautiful smiles - will we ever see it again? Death has cruelly laid it's icy hands on you.
If we could turn back the hands of time, we want to have you around for another 70 years and properly bid you farewell, but we cannot always have what we want. We love you, but God loves you best, thus his calling you to be with him.
We miss you terribly but we are consoled and comforted because we know we will meet again in heaven where there will be no more pain or sorrow. May God grant us comfort, as we all mourn the loss of our dear mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend. May we be comforted knowing God ended her pain and suffering, and that she is in a better place.
May God grant you eternal rest Nike and rest in perfect peace.
